We're building
the finance system
the next generation
will run on.
Two founders, ~20 design partners, and one architectural bet - that the AI-native finance system that defines the next twenty years gets built now, from the foundation up.
The function we knew best, and most wanted to fix.
Krishna spent two decades inside finance. First at KPMG, then as a Chartered Accountant working inside operating companies, then as the founder of his own venture - which he sold to a strategic acquirer in a successful exit and went looking for what to build next.
He kept returning to the same observation. The finance teams across every company he visited were running on systems older than they were, doing work that should have been automated a decade ago, and being treated as a back office while operating decisions were made on numbers they couldn't see in time.
The technology to fix it - language models reliable enough for finance work - had only just arrived. The architecture to deliver it - continuous close, decision-time impact, audit-grade by construction - did not exist anywhere. He decided to build it.
Mahesh joined as co-founder in early 2025. He had spent his career building data and systems infrastructure inside two of the most operationally rigorous companies in their industries - Berkshire Hathaway and Cipla - where the cost of getting it wrong is measured in lives or millions.
The combination - Krishna's depth in the finance function, Mahesh's depth in the systems that need to support it - is the bet Rever is making. Most finance software is built by software people who hire finance advisors. We're doing it the other way around.
Two founders. Building deliberately.
Hiring quietly across engineering, customer success, and design. We move slowly on team - fast on product.
All-India Rank 49 Chartered Accountant. Two decades inside the finance function - first at KPMG, then as a CA inside operating companies. Founded and successfully exited a previous venture in a sale to a strategic acquirer.
At Rever, Krishna runs product, customer development, and the company's vision. The system Rever is building is the one he wished existed when he was running finance teams himself.
Engineering leader. Formerly Berkshire Hathaway and Cipla, where he built data and systems infrastructure inside two of the most operationally rigorous companies in their industries.
At Rever, Mahesh runs engineering, security, and the architecture beneath every layer. The Lake, the Loop, the Sentinel - the parts that have to be right every time are his bet.
Real progress, quietly measured.
We don't ship press releases for milestones we haven't hit. Here's where we genuinely are.
Quiet, deliberate, compounding.
Hired by founders, never recruiters.
Every hire goes through Krishna or Mahesh personally. We move slowly on team and fast on product. The bar is high enough that we'd rather be understaffed than under-talented.
Hybrid by design.
SF and Bangalore as primary hubs, but remote where it makes sense for the role. Engineering ships from anywhere. Customer success and sales work where customers are.
Read the manifesto.
What we believe and what we refuse to do - written down while we're small enough to be held to it. Every offer letter goes out with the manifesto attached. Read it →
